The end product of this project is only one special function trolley, deceptively simple. But from the first design draft submitted to the final delivery of trolley, it took a whopping five years. Altogether the design direction changed two times, in between are countless hours of research, development and testing. The passion by Man Wah on the art of tea is matched by our passion in offering the best solution to them.
To serve tea in a traditional Chinese way may be ubiquitous in a mainland tea house or restaurant. However, it is a very different story when the vision is to serve the guests in a Michelin starred restaurant with an assorted selection of fine teas expertly and elegantly, changed according to season, in the very heart of the Central financial District, and on a rolling machine that is slim profiled and smart.
Best is to come and enjoy the experience yourself, unwinding from the hustle and bustle of the outside in the hush within Man Wah, and soaking in the calm preparation while leisurely tasting a brew of fine tea.
The functions that need to be performed by the trolley are quite disproportional to its footprint. Hence, effective space planning is crucial, and every component of the body is carefully considered in its position, dimension and style to yield overall simplicity and coherency.
